Before we get started here a few things you should know about dragons in Arcana.

1. They are not classified by color, no cromatic dragon system here. Any particular dragon can breath fire and most do.

2. Dragons are supernatural creatures, they are part of the natural balance of things, why else would a druid be able to turn into one. (not a shifter, a druid)

3. All true dragons are named and once defeated will be removed from the module. Your name will go on the Monument of Great Deeds in the Welcome area, if you helped kill the dragon. Once the dragon is killed you will get the XP and Gold and treasure from the DM. treasure will consist of gold, gems, and one 20th level ILR custom item for your character that helped.

4. Dragons are not necessarily evil but most are hostile to you, as you are tasty, an easy prey usually, and you have treasure, Dragons are highly greedy do to their great appetites.

5. Dragons sleep for long periods of time, on the order of 100s of years. Which is why they are so hungry when they wake up. They also have great memory and are very wise and intelligent. Do not think to try and trick one as they are also very crafty.

Alright thats enough info on the to history, it will be brief just to give you an idea about them in my world.

Little is known of the linage of Dragons after the father of dragons. Most dragons are very solitary and since they can sleep for such long times they tend to be forgotten by men and sometimes elves. When they awaken they may be given a whole new name.

The great dragons of old did not get involved in the war between the Sanktori and the Ko Tari they simpled watched and waited.

Little is know of their mating dances or rituals, what is known is they mate for life similar to Tari and Humans.

Dragons are highly intelligent and all of them speak, they may not speak your language but they all speak. They are equally powerful spell casters though their magic is more instinctive than the way Tari and Man cast magic.

Some Dragons of Note are.

Scintillion: Was a greet powerful dragon till in the last age a group of heroes found an vanquished him. He was known among Tari and Man as a greedy foul creature who demanded gold and riches to be given to him and regular intervals or he would destroy whole villages. He had been slumbering for over 200 years when the heroes stumbled upon his cave and treasure horde.

Crystillion: the mate of Scintillion lived far off in the icy cold mountains of the barbarians till she awoke and left to find her mate. Only to find he had been killed in his sleep. She then took and human form, this was the first time this has been confirmed that dragons can shift their forms and speak and live as a Man or Tari. She avenged the death of her mate partially, killing two of the four heroes, she is still at large and threatens the Empire of Tanamerah.

Daggurthrond: Is an ancient dragon of the blackest hide ever seen. He lives far to the east and has been active for a long time. Though he maybe slumbering now, he has not been seen in a couple years. But is still a threat in far off lands. It is rumored that a brave wizard once challenged him to game of chess for his own life. After explaining the rules to the great Daggurthrond they played three matches. The wizard won the first match but lost the other two and became lunch.

Zorrvolt: Stalks the ancient forests and lands of Glamoria, though he has not been seen in some time. He is known for being particularly small and vicious with his kills. Though he does speak with his prey at times he is not known for it. He is interesting in that he does not breath fire like other dragons but emits a great lightning blast from his mouth.
