I knew something was not right with them, they have done it now. Off up hunting Ogres and who shows up to join us, but Belinal Scarlet. Smelly spooky fellla this one is. I believe Strowolf was right about him, what he said that time. While we were in the Ogre cave, he nearly killed me when he was casting his Horrid Wilting, he apologized and then said it was by mistake. I told him he needs to watch it. Then shortly after as we were following the trails and fighting more ogres, he casts his Horrid Wilting and then runs off. I chase him, even in my weaken state, cast some disenchantments on me, then he grasps me with a grasping hand spell and then grabs me with a crushing hand. He laughs and runs off. Luckily Avienda bandages me, as my life is being crushed out of me. When the spell wears off I ride as fast as I can before this Scarlet can catch up to me and finish the job he started. I make my way back to the High Council and speak with Miranda. I tell her of this incident with the Scarlet, she is very disturbed by it. Though the Empire's Arm does not reach to the mountains, she did take an oath to Lady Aina Sul to watch and keep all of us from Tari Tol safe. I told her that I wish to send word to my father and the rest of the Elf Lords and alert them of this no good family and the antics they have pulled. Miranda tells me to search out Katrina of the Emperial Guard and let her know what happened. I am off to find Katrina as well as Alata, *snickers* I am sure she would like to know that this creature of a Scarlet has done what he has done to one of her kinsmen.

I finally caught up to Emberlynn after all this time. I was told she is dealing with a lot of things and juggling some men at this time. Humans are more complexed then I originally thought. So after she decided to pay attention to me, after me seeing her a few times today, she seemed very enthused about some man by the name of Dimitri she finally came to talk to me. Rather, grabbed me and decided to kiss me in front of all of our comrades. I can not figure her out and what she truly wants. Well that is moot at this time I am afraid. I spoke to her about the attempt on my life and told her that things for me and those who I care for may be at risk. I dont trust this Scarlet family and it would not be unlike them I would think to use me to get to those who I care for. I told Emberlynn that I may sail soon back home to be with my father. She says she understands, though her actions spoke a different tune. If she could just understand the danger she may have put herself in. The Scarlets could use her, to get to me or to use that to somehow get to my father. After Emberlynn ran off, I ran into Alata. It has been so long since I have seen her. She scolded me for having such relations with a human, she reminded me of the torment and hurt that would come about as I watch her age and die while I go on. She is right, best for her to stay with her own kin. She seems to have something with Dimitri going by Shay, so best I no longer interfere and let her stay with her kin. I dont want to but, best for her if I do. Alata then wanted to speak with me on the issue I had with this Belinal Scarlet. So we went to my room at the Inn of the Comfortable Saddle. Oh how naive I am, Alata told me that those rooms who I thought were for those important diplomats of the area are actually nothing more then ladies of the evening she put it. They do things for the men for money. It made me wonder if this is where Anah Unders was employed at one time and that is why she recommended it to me, would not surprise me how she goes from man to man that way. Anyway Alata told me that she has ran into the family before and now she has a valid reason to take action against them, since the Empire can not do anything other then harass them, I am sure she will take matters into her own hands. Oh I feel sorry for the Scarlets *snickers* not really. I met a new person today, Grimbold, a dwarf who was hunting in the forest. We had a good time, I hope to bump into him again before I take the boat back home. Well back to studies, much I need to do before I set sail.

Well it has been years since I have found the time to write. I did sail for home after getting news that I was needed, not to mention all the issues with that Belial Scarlet. Not long after my return and the tellings of all my adventures and friends of those who I met in my years away from Tari Tol, I was given an invitation to become an ambassador, which I readily accepted. I wanted to stay away from the politics but I saw this as a great opportunity to quench that thirst I have for knowledge, what could be better then that! So I have been back in the Empire for a few weeks now. No sign of my dearest Emberlynn, I know things did not go the way I think she was wanting last we spoke and that has weighed heavily on my conscience for some time now. I have seen a few old friends and colleagues since I have been back, Savreen, Radia and Jacques. I asked Jacques if by chance he has seen Emberlynn, it seems as he too has been away ... he was sad to say no and that he was hoping I had seen her. I went to the home she was in the works of purchasing in Tanamerah Proper the last we spoke, and there was no fenced in courtyard as she told me she had plans of ... no signs of life there ... no traces of her there. I did some research and found out that she never carried through with the house and finalized anything. Oh ... this has me concerned ... no traces of my dear Emberlynn.

In my travles I have searched her out, all the places were we used to train and talk about the ongoings of our lives. But no signs of her whatsoever. It saddens me.

I met a man named Mordyn, a wizard it seems, much I am sure we would have to talk about ... maybe will take my mind off of Emberlynn. ...

We finally had a chance to talk and he invited me to join an Order of Wizards he was co founder of. The Order of Grimalkin is what they are named, it was founded by Mordyn, my dwarven freind Hulen and a man by the name of Bob Tweigler. I could not turn this invitation down, an order that is formed on the principle of preserving knowledge, gaining knowledge and making it available to all. How exciting! Mordyn told me he has a hall being constructed in Sandow for us and the construction has begun. We are a bit of a private and secretive order, which I mentioned if the council would have issues with this, would not care to have them see us as a threat to their rule. I said with myself being an Ambassador, I may have some favor with the council and being friends with Savreen who is a justicar, could help some. Mordyn told me that Savreen is a member of the Order as well, so hopefully between Savreen and I we will be able to curb any concerns that the council may have. All so exciting!

Savreen, yes, he was helping Emberlynn last I knew, maybe he knows where she can be found?

After turning in some bounty I bumped into Mordyn. He was very excited and told me that the construction was finished. So we went together and he showed me around the new hall he had constructed. It could use some work but it is still nice. We discussed some upgraded we would like to add on to the hall: a fountain, kitchen and I recommended a table for us to enchant and craft on. We talked about maybe trying to come up with a time for the whole order to meet and go hunting and training and maybe trade knowledge, a grand idea. After a quick rest, Mordyn and myself went hunting on the old east road. We took on a camp of bandits that were staked out close to the old tomb of the greenwitch. We faired well together, though it took a lot more out of me then I was expecting. Then we went off giant hunting, ah, a piece of cake. Mordyn has the ability to summon a great mummy warrior, it was very impressive. We ran into some lizardmen and the mummy took them on like they were nothing. Mordyn moved on and I went back to Sandow to our hall to get some rest. When I awoke, Mordyn, Bob and Hulen were there. I was a little busy studying and missed Bob's farewell. Then shortly we had a new comer, Vino I think his name was. I get an uneasy feeling when around him, he mentioned before that he studies the darkarts, which I will not judge or condemn the man, but I will keep an eye on him, he may have valuable knowledge to contribute to our cause.

I then left the group and went onto Tanamerah in hopes of finding out what happened to my dear friend Emberlynn, but it was a failed attempt. I hope she is well ... I need to find Savreen to see if he has any further information about her.

Oh so tired after such a long adventure. Was wandering looking for Savreen to see if he had news of Emberlynn, but no such luck. As I was off exploring, I ran into that singer women who frequents Tanamerah and her friend. They were off and out for a walk they said, I warned them the lands surrounding the Old East Road are not safe. They did not heed my advice ... As I was setting up camp in the South East plains, I heard the sounds of battle, it was Silverfeather ... was that his name? I forget ... must be getting old *laughs* was being chased by Lizardmen. I lent some assistance and we defeated the foe. He said that his lady friend was slain by the lizards and was taken away by the Gods. I then accompanied him back to Sandow were we parted, I had matters to attend at our Hall. Looking for Mordyn to discuss finances, but he was not there. I ran into and old friend Nela, has been a long time since I have seen her. One of the first people I met when I first arrived in Tanamerah. So we went and were off bounty hunting and funds gathering. Goblins, the vile little creatures, Lizards, boar, manticores, Giants and even some bandits. Ogres and the mountain giants were much fun. It was then that Mordyn joined us ... it was good to see him .... though we did not get to talk. I forgot to mention Bob was off exploring with us as well. Everyone kept calling upon Mummy Warriors, Bob is very very fond of his. So after studying them for a while I learned the spell myself. Very nice, I think I rather summon the warrior then open the gate and summon a Balor. We all parted ways and I continued to hunt. My luck ran out though ... somehow a manticore got the best of me and I found myself in the afterlife, just to be wisked back to the material plane.

Well time to rest up before I head out again.

Well out I was exploring when I ran into Hulen and Bob. Thinning out the numbers of the Lizardmen. It really got me in the mood for a nice hunt. Hulen left us and it was just Bob and I. Through Ogres and Mountain giants we went. Poor Bob, some Ogre got to him and laid him out like a bearskin carpet. He has much to learn still it seems. Up to the chilly peak we went. Got us some nice ice wolf hides then we quickly left before we were chased by Ice Giants. Off to the barbarian lands we went and hunted some hill giants. They fell quickly. I think Bob was a little awestucken on my aggressiveness. It happens *laughs* from time to time. All study and no play takes its toll after awhile.

I heard a faint sound when coming into Tanamerah today, so I went to investigate it. There was a singer in town playing her lute. It was captivating... so I sat down and listened to her songs for a good hour or so before I noticed my friend Nela listening too. The singer's name was Melliot Papillion - an old student of a Master Elven Bard, I forget the name she mentioned since I was distracted by a mysterious black figure standing in the shadows by the fountain. Something subtlely familiar about the person, not sure what though. After a lovely song from my homeland, I just had to make a donation to Melliot, so beautiful her voice is. Though it did strike up lots of emotion in me and I felt an even stronger longing to speak with my dear friend Emberlynn. I left Nela and Melliot and took a stroll through the city. I found myself lost in though outside of the home Emberlynn was going to buy, I remember the dreams she had of that place, having a courtyard added on so she could sit and relax and continue her studies. Oh where could she be. Savreen must be busy off doing council things, have not seen him in some time now. I later ran into Nela again after I left the hall in sandow. She wasoff killing lizards,so I joined her. She confirmed my curiosity about trolls up in the woods by the camp in numfor ... I saw one finally ... a big green one. It was no match for us. Then we went on. We were planning on going Ogre hunting, but something came up and we had to part ways. Maybe next time.

Three witches we ran into at the ruins in Numfor. Powerful they were, I know I fell at least one time. It is good to have friends. There was also a medusa in the marshes I was told. That was a peculiar one. I was meeting with some of the members of the Order and there came a knock on the door. A group of adventurers were there. They needed scrolls of stone to flesh. Apparently there was a run in with a medusa in the marshes and it was had turned a comrade to stone and extorting the group. We offered to assist them but they declined, in fear that the medusa would kill their friend. Understandable. We wished them best of luck. I gave that man Kale a few extra just in case.

The enchanting table is in that we ordered. Bob gave it a pretty good workout. It is was studious night as Bob, Silverleaf and I discussed various spells and readings from our books. Silverleaf is forbidden from using spells from the school of transmutation, shame I would be lost without that chapter of my book. Though he is an archer and has a very special helmet, it will be much fun adventuring with him in the future.

I hear there is a wizard school open in South Tanamerah, I think I will go visit next time I am in town. Hmmm ... interesting come to think of it. I have not seen any of the Wolfclan around in awhile. I hope there is not trouble up in the Norselands.

A carrier from Tari Tol made a special delivery to me today. It was a gift from Lady Sul and a splendid one indeed. The Lords have decided to give me the title of Chief Ambassador of Tari Tol and I have been awarded the Robes of the Ambassador, such a great gift this is. Though normally I am modest, I can not wait to show off this grand robes.

I just love my new robes. I have to say though, they were not much of a help when a few of us tried to go to the desert, those Red Hand people are great warriors. I hear now that not only do they guard the stonewall pass but also the Mine Camps and NumFor itself. It will make it more dangerous now to study the ancient ruins that way. I still have had no leads on that large stone structure and it's runes. I do have, well rather had, a decent transcription of them until that run in with the Red Hand. I need to stop in Tanamerah to the wizard's school and see if they can be of any help.

Ah looks like we have been invited for a performance at the Bard College in Southern Tanamerah. Excellent, should be a nice evening. I must check with the rest of the Order and see who else will be attending.

Oh so busy ...

The concert was excellent, very impressive troop. Though the highlight was not anything they performed but Emberlynn was there. A wash of nervousness and happiness came over me at once. I was so over joyed to see her. After a long talk she told me how she went into hiding and that Cutss was after her. I feel guilt over this since she stated that it was our last meeting which caused her to have the falling out with Cutss. An anger like I have never felt before festers in me. Regardless, I was very happy to see her and I asked her if I may court her, the proper thing to do. We called it a night and I think she said she was off to have some drinks and dinner with Shay.

Emberlynn and I spent the evening walking and talking. She pulled me aside and we spoke in the Library. She had concerns about my duties getting in the way of us. She does not want to see me loose my standing or become and outcast from my kin. I told her not to worry, it is something that I did not think of so if I couldnt be bothered why should she. We then went for a walk and took a boat to Sandow. I showed her the Order's Hall. She seemed to like it ...

... * hears a knock * ... Who is it? *puts down quill*

Oh what a day of joy this is! I have completed my spell book, thanks to a young scholar Elrow. A bit clumsy that one is, she better be careful that she doesn't end up hurting her self when casting. Poor girl, kept tripping over her own two feet. My dear Emberlynn was back in town. She said she was off and found some valuable information, though it seemed as if she did not want to discuss it in public. I made her blush so, this little lady by the name of Lysha was selling flowers so I bought a boquet to give to Emberlynn. We then went for a bite to eat. We didn't get much time to talk, as I was extremely tired, but we did get to chat a little.

I feel like a new person, unstoppable, so full of life. My dear love and I shared something very special last night, our bodies became one as we allowed the raw passion that has grown in us to be unleashed. Like raw arcane power it just consumed us, a whirlwind of emotions. Oh it was so grand, an experience I will cherish to the end of days. I laid there afterward staring at her as she slept. She looked so at peace and happy for a change. It fills me with such joy to know that I make her feel safe and at peace with herself. She is so troubled, tormented by her forgotten past. She is so fragile and full of self doubt. I will do what I can to help her unlock the mysteries that plagues her. Though now I fear what those mysteries may be.

Emberlynn tells me that she met a sailor who told her she was the daughter of the mayor of Kitryn. A coastal town we think, since there is no documentation we can find on it. He said that the town was destoryed many years ago. She believes it lies close to the city of Anafur which too, we know nothing of. There is a thought that some powerful magic is blocking the memories of her past. This I will help her remember. Savreen was helping her she said, but he is among the missing. He is a busy wizard, though I do question his motives from what I have heard from others. He is very involved in the politics of the Empire and for one who should be objective, it seems he is rather biased when it comes to certain matters. He is a powerful justicar and it would not surprise me if his goal is to sit on the counsel of mages. I will do what I can to assist my love, my Tinu'ael. Together we will find the keys to unlock her past.
