Savreen Guant was in Tanamerah raising a group to help him with a pet project of "Studying" the Frost Giants in the High Forest of the Finisterre mountains. He gathered up a good sized group of 8 companions to go with him.
9... 9 was a good number he thought to himself as they rode for Saban to take a ship over to Port Smith.
The group traveled swiftly down the forest road outside Port Smith, not noticing the eyes that were upon them. Krystal looked on from the bridge where she was filling her canteens. She had learned to drink from canteens when in disguise. As the group passed she noted the smell of a few humans she liked. So she followed shortly after.
they had entered one of the caves of her favorite prey, the Finisterre Ogers. She is known to the Ogers as The Great Ice Dragon, they dare not attack her anymore.
She waiting outside the cave for Savreen and Anah to come out. As the group began to exit the cave, several noticed her standing there looking almost lost.
Savreen began questioning her about Moria and Taaedrin as soon as he seen her. She reminded him he has no authority to arrest her here, outside of the empire. Krystal sniffs the air, his line of questioning is arousing the others to expect a fight. Knowing that she is more vulnerable to numbers in human form, Krystal quickly throws a time stop and dashes towards the near by dragon cave, this will make a good place for a show down if it comes to that. Though she would rather not hurt Anah or Savreen they did not kill her sweet Scintillion.
She arrives at the cave and clears out some of the bugs and bats with a single breath. Their frozen, icy corpses littler the ground. And would later crunch under the heels of the adventurers pursuing her.
In her dragon form the cave is still quite large enough for her to move around. She waits for Savreen and company to come to her. She cam smell them approach and her there words even though they whisper and are quite far away.
Now they are her on her terms, they witness the glory and majesty that is Crystillion. She tells Savreen Moria and Taaedrin had to die because they kill her mate her lover, her friend, and adds who among them would not do the same. None can answer or are they afraid to....
After a breif conversation, Savreen takes the company out of the cave, he is torn between what he wants to do, kill the dragon, and what he knows is right, take this to the counsel. In the end Savreen chooses the right path. Had they attacked and not defeated her, she could have gone on to do serious damage to any near by settlement in retaliation for the offense.
In the end Savreen travels home, he has closure on the death of his betrothed Moria Aller, who now rests beneath the High Counsel building in The Tomb of Heroes. But the problem and threat she poses is still eminent, Savreen speaks with Miranda about this, who is very troubled by this news. The counsel will decided the next course of action.
